What is a Free Tour?

In short: a Free (city) Tour is a guided visit, by foot, tip based. The visitor remains free, from the beginning to the end. He can join or leave the free walking tour any time. And at the end he freely decides what the performance of the city guide was worth to him.

The concept of the Free Tour enjoys great popularity and has established itself by now in almost every major city in Europe.

The Free Tour with Strasburg-Tours

You will experience a GREAT guided tour. Time flies by. When the guide at the end has thanked you for your attention and puts his hat on the ground, please remember his remuneration. Any amount and every contribution is welcome. Depending on your appreciation of his performance and depending on what you can afford. The guide will be pleased about your tip, and your applause is of course priceless!

• Where? – All our Free Tours start at the Cathedral Square, in front of the main entrance of the Cathedral. (The tour guide always carries a big “Free Tour” sign (with Wackes Stork) and is easy to spot.)
